7 STEPS

7 STEPS is a solo viola CD I've recorded during a few months of visiting JC Jones' home and studio in Jerusalem on 2013-14.

The final track is a duo between us, and one of the last recordings of JC playing the double bass.

I was honored and grateful to receive an immediate YES from Ernesto Rodrigues, founder and curator of the Portuguese label, Creative Sources.

Growing Carrots in  a Concrete Floor

Growing Carrots in a Concrete Floor was recorded during one beautiful and quiet session during night time at Barbur Gallery in  Jerusalem.

Wade Matthews was visiting Israel and being hosted by the experimental music series that I was producing and curating  at the gallery. Carmel Raz was visiting Israel too. After a great performance of the three of us, we decided to record the CD with the help of Lars Sergel who both recorded and mastered the recordings.

Thanos Chrysakis and his English label, Aural Terrains were pleased to issue the CD.
